About Aus Flight Handling Perth

Aus Flight Handling Perth is currently seeking motivated and safety-focused individuals to join our growing Perth operation servicing our client airline Rex Airlines. Our Perth team handles up to 10 daily departures and 10 daily arrivals throughout Regional Western Australia, delivering safe, efficient, and customer-focused ground handling operations connecting regional communities.

We are seeking candidates for the following Part-Time leadership positions (minimum 25 hours per week guaranteed):

  • Ramp Supervisor
  • Check-In Supervisor

Ramp Supervisor Duties

  • Oversee daily ramp operations and aircraft turnaround activities
  • Ensure correct staffing and resources are allocated to each flight
  • Read, interpret, and manage daily rosters and operational requirements
  • Drive on-time performance outcomes across the operation
  • Manage disruptions in line with airline disruption procedures
  • Operate and oversee ground service equipment including belt loaders, tugs, and bag carts
  • Marshal aircraft during arrival and departure
  • Ensure baggage is loaded correctly according to flight destination and load requirements
  • Promote and maintain compliance with all safety, security, and operational procedures
  • Support and lead ramp team members during daily operations

Check-In Supervisor Duties

  • Lead and support customer service staff during daily operations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to regional passengers
  • Assist with check-in, boarding, passenger enquiries, and disruptions
  • Maintain high levels of communication with the airline, call centre, Airport Authority, outports, and operational teams
  • Ensure disruptions are managed in accordance with airline procedures and customer service expectations
  • Ensure smooth and efficient front-of-house operations
  • Support compliance with airline, airport, and company operational standards

What We Are Looking For

  • Professional presentation adhering to airline grooming standards
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Reliable time management and punctuality
  • Ability to safely lift up to 32kg (Ramp Supervisor role)
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Valid driver's licence (essential)
  • Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol and Audio testing
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays and shifts between 05:00am and 11:00pm
  • Ability to commit to minimum 4-hour shifts and attend 2 weeks of paid full-time training
  • Previous experience in aviation, airport operations, or ground handling highly regarded but not essential

Pre-Employment Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment, drug and alcohol testing, State and Federal Police checks, and ASIO background checks for aviation security clearance.
