Skytrans Australia (formerly SmartLynx Australia), an Australian passenger airline and part of Avia Solutions Group, operates 13 regional aircraft specialising in Regular Public Transport (RPT), charter, and ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) services across the Asia-Pacific. As the Group’s first ACMI provider in Australia, Skytrans Australia is supported by the world’s largest ACMI fleet of 221 aircraft and 14,000 aviation professionals worldwide. Skytrans Australia is seeking an experienced Aircraft Project & CAMO Engineer to join our Continuing Airworthiness team in Cairns. This is a key technical and project-focused role, responsible for managing aircraft entry-into-service projects while supporting the ongoing airworthiness of our fleet. Reporting to the General Manager Engineering, you will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, technical integrity, and operational readiness across our aircraft operations.

Skytanking provides a full range of aviation services including ground handling, into-plane fueling, aviation fuel storage and hydrant management, investment in aviation fuel facilities at airports, and engineering services in support of its airline, airport, and oil company customers. The company handles more than 25 million cbm of aviation fuel annually, refueling two million aircraft. This is equivalent to four fuellings per minute. Skytanking has operations at more than 100 airports in 15 countries including Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia through the support of more than 2,900 employees. History Corporate Air was launched in 1972 by local Canberra interests. At the time of commencement of services, the Company operated a flying school and a small air charter business. The flying school was successful, as was the air charter business. Many of the people who learnt to fly with us are now airline pilots with major airlines around the world. The Company operates its own state-of-the-art CASA approved aircraft heavy maintenance facility at Goulburn, NSW. This facility maintains all of the Corporate Air fleet to the highest standards as well as providing aircraft maintenance services to a number of external clients.
