Auriga Group is seeking a Senior FP&A & Data Analyst to support leaders across our maritime and aviation operations. This is a hands-on role where you will partner with stakeholders across the Group to deliver meaningful financial reporting, forecasting, modelling and business intelligence that supports commercial decision-making, while owning finance reporting logic, governed datasets, semantic models and data quality.

About the Role
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this newly created position will play a critical role in strengthening financial planning, analysis, reporting and data governance across the Auriga Group.
Working across multiple business entities and operational functions, you will be responsible for developing financial models, improving reporting frameworks, enhancing data integrity and delivering actionable insights that support executive and operational decision-making.
This position offers a unique opportunity to partner with leaders across the Group and contribute to the ongoing development of the organisation's data and reporting capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the finance owner for reporting data held within Auriga’s data warehouse or lakehouse, Power BI semantic models and governed finance datasets.
- Manage and enhance financial reporting, data governance and Power BI reporting to deliver accurate, reliable and actionable business insights.
- Test, reconcile and validate new data feeds, transformations, semantic model changes, dashboards and reporting logic before release.
- Develop and maintain forecasting, budgeting and financial models to support planning, scenario analysis and strategic decision-making.
- Prepare management reporting, performance analysis and dashboards that provide visibility of key financial and operational drivers.
- Partner with operational, commercial and finance stakeholders to analyse performance, identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Support pricing, contract, cost, asset and investment decisions through commercial analysis and financial insights.
- Drive continuous improvement across FP&A processes, reporting, automation and data quality.
About You
You are a commercially minded finance and data professional who enjoys working with data, solving problems and influencing business outcomes. You can translate complex financial and operational information into meaningful insights and build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. You are comfortable operating across financial modelling, governed data and reporting systems and have demonstrated experience combining finance, analytics and technology.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in FP&A, commercial finance, data analysis or similar analytical role.
- Demonstrated experience with data warehouses, semantic models, SQL databases or governed reporting environments.
- Advanced Power BI and Excel capability, including data modelling, semantic models, DAX, Power Query, dashboards, reconciliations and controlled reporting outputs.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, including data definitions, mappings, reconciliations, master data, reporting controls, lineage and change management.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across multiple business units.
- A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering outcomes.
Desirable
- CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification (or working towards).
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
- Experience working with data engineers, BI developers, systems integrators or external technology partners.
- Experience in asset-intensive, operationally complex or multi-site businesses.
