Precision Helicopters is a safe and efficient helicopter service in NSW that has been established since 1993. We expanded our operations from our initial base at Barraba to include bases in Coffs Harbour, Quirindi and Gloucester. We provide a premium service utilising highly experienced pilots to ensure safe cost-effective operations. We have eight helicopters within the company with several different types to select from. Seven of the helicopters are single engine turbine which is used for most of our aerial work operations and one twin-engine turbine for those larger tasks. Our Longranger based at Coffs Harbour has floats for over water flights.

Flyon commenced operations in Mackay on the 1st December 2016 following the award of a marine pilot transfer contract by Torres Pilots Pty Ltd. Torres Pilots Pty Ltd have been providing marine pilot services for vessels transiting the AMSA (Australian Maritime Authority) compulsory area of Hydrographers Passage for over 30 years. In reviewing their requirements, Torres Pilots sought to engage with an aviation provider that could provide reliability and secure services for their marine pilotage operations 24/7. Hydrographers Passage, a deep channel passage with its PBG (Pilot Boarding Ground) lying 110 nautical miles offshore from the Coal export terminals of Dalrymple Bay and Hay Point is the longest HMPT (Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfer) anywhere in the world. All marine pilot transfers (MPTs) are conducted via land on helicopter at Blossom Bank pilot boarding ground. In the spirit of reconciliation Flyon Pty Ltd acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
