What’s the role on offer?
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Cabin Crew Standards Manager to support the delivery of high‑quality training, checking, and compliance outcomes across our Fokker and Embraer fleets. This role works closely with the Cabin Crew Standards Manager to ensure regulatory compliance, consistent standards, and continuous improvement across cabin crew training activities. You will play a key leadership role supporting trainers, checkers, and portfolio leads while contributing to the development and delivery of effective cabin crew training programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a cabin crew professional ready to step into a senior standards and leadership position.
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a proactive and capable aviation professional who demonstrates strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for training excellence. You will:
Support the delivery and oversight of cabin crew training and checking standards
Assist in managing cabin crew training portfolio leads and maintaining their currency
Contribute to the planning and facilitation of cabin crew training and checking meetings
Monitor and review compliance of training and checking activities
Assist with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of cabin crew training programs
Ensure training documentation, devices, and locations meet company and regulatory requirements
Provide remedial training to cabin crew and trainees as required
Liaise with internal stakeholders to clarify and uphold cabin crew standards
Participate in safety reporting systems and support a strong safety culture
What you will need to succeed?
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Eligibility to meet the minimum requirements of a Line Flight Attendant
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
Emergency Procedures Instructor qualification (or ability to obtain)
Extensive knowledge of CASA and Australian aviation safety regulations
Strong knowledge of cabin crew operations and management
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment
Previous cabin crew and/or cabin crew management experience (preferred)
Prior approval to conduct proficiency assessments (desirable)
