The Company
Airspeed is celebrating 18 years of award-winning success this year. Airspeed Aviation is a regionally-based Charter operator with Flight School serving the communities in which we are based. You will join a tight-knit team of 10 operating up to 20 aircraft at 4 bases, teaching and transporting people safely and reliably.
Our pilots are supported by the Operations management team to achieve the best possible client outcomes every day. You will be mentored by the HOFO to build your skills and judgement for not only this role but for the next role in your career plan.

The Role
Charter Pilot (40-50% load) operating Baron 58, Cessna C414 and C404, TBM850 and other types. Senior Flight Instructor - IFR, MEA, CPL & PPL. (Salary will be in line with the highest-paid role you are checked to line to perform).
Mandatory Criteria
- Australian Citizen or current right to work in Australia, located in Australia.
- Current Australian CPL, Instrument Rating, and Class 1 Medical.
- Instructor Rating with Grade 2, MEA, IFR, NGT and DFT.
- More than 800 Hours TT and 100 MEA.
- Demonstrated Hospitality and Customer Service Skills.
- Positivity, Energy, and a love of GA and the Aviation Industry.
Nice to Have
- Tailwheel & Aerobatics.
- GTE & PXS (successful candidate will be trained if not already endorsed).
- Remote charter experience.
- Leadership/Management experience.
This role is a full-time Tamworth-based position with occasional overnight travel in NSW and interstate. Accommodation support provided while you get yourself established in your new base.
