About the Role
Play a key role in maintaining and installing HVAC and mechanical systems that support Australia's air traffic control and aviation rescue firefighting operations. Working from Sydney Airport and across NSW, you'll be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical infrastructure including chilled water systems, cooling towers, air handling units, BMS and split systems, with the opportunity to expand your skills into specialised aviation equipment such as RADAR and power generation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform time-sensitive preventive and corrective maintenance, and project installation activities in accordance with prescribed processes and procedures
- Maintain an awareness and understanding of the impact that work undertaken can have on Airservices systems
- Complete timely and accurate data entry into maintenance management systems
- Actively identify opportunities for continuous improvement of service delivery and work practices
Essential Requirements
- Experience maintaining and installing HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, cooling towers, air handling units, building management systems, packaged units and split systems
- Certificate III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
- NSW Restricted Electrical Licence
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- White Card and current CPR/LVR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable
- Experience with diesel generators or power generation systems
- Dogging or Forklift Licence
