Airservices Australia is currently seeking applications from previously trained and rated Air Traffic Controllers who hold Australian Citizenship, New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency. Multiple positions are available throughout Australia.

Airservices Australia is a government-owned organisation responsible for the safe and efficient management of 11% of the world's airspace and provision of aviation rescue firefighting services at Australia's busiest airports. Training requirements (duration and location) will be based on individual Training Needs Analysis.
The Person
- Hold a current rating and endorsement in an Air Traffic Control environment
- Hold an ICAO Level 6 English language proficiency
- Minimum 3 years' operational experience (preferred)
- Able to provide certified documentation and referees to support your application
Eligibility Requirements
- Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident (not open to international applicants)
- Hold an air traffic control rating and endorsement
- Currently employed or previously employed as an operational Air Traffic Controller within the last five years
- Able to hold or gain a Class 3 Medical Certificate (in accordance with CASA Part 67 CASR standards)
Pre-Employment Requirements
- Medical: Licensing as an ATC requires a Class 3 Medical Certificate per CASA Part 67 CASRs. Please review Regulation 67.160 before applying — contact CASA on 131 757 if in doubt.
- Police Records Check: All applicants must undergo a Police Records Check as part of the recruitment process.
- Security Clearance: An ASIC is required for this role. Successful applicants will be required to complete the relevant security check process.
