The Role & The Team
We are currently seeking applications from previously trained and rated Air Traffic Controllers who hold Australian Citizenship, New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency. The Person
- Hold a current rating and endorsement in an Air Traffic Control environment
- Hold an ICAO Level 6 English language proficiency
- A minimum of 3 years operational experience (preferred)
- Currently employed, or previously employed, as an operational Air Traffic Controller within the last five years
- Able to hold or gain a Class 3 Medical
- Able to provide certified documentation and referees to support your application
Medical Standards
Licensing as an Air Traffic Controller requires attainment of a Class 3 Medical Certificate in accordance with CASA medical standards specified in Part 67 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations. Any individual unable to meet the prescribed medical standards will be ineligible for an ATC licence, and hence for ATC training and/or employment with Airservices Australia.
Security Clearance
To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident, as an ASIC is required for this role. This role is not open to international applicants. A Police Records Check is also required.
