About the Role
Airservices Australia is currently seeking applications from previously trained and rated Air Traffic Controllers who hold Australian Citizenship, New Zealand Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency. This is an opportunity for a passionate and delivery-focused professional to build a career in one of Australia's most exciting and forward-thinking organisations, working across locations from bustling cities to regional and remote locations. Training requirements (duration and location) will be based on individual Training Needs Analysis.
Essential Requirements
- Hold a current rating and endorsement in an Air Traffic Control environment.
- Hold an ICAO level 6 English language proficiency.
- A minimum of 3 years operational experience (preferred).
- Currently employed or previously employed as an operational Air Traffic Controller within the last five years.
- Able to hold or gain a Class 3 Medical Certificate in accordance with CASA medical standards (Part 67 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations).
- Be an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen or hold Australian Permanent Residency (not open to international applicants).
- Undergo a Police Records Check and, where applicable, an overseas police records check.
- Hold or be eligible for an ASIC as part of the required security clearance.
