Operating alongside a maintenance organisation (NAC) means our planes have minimal down time, and also gives students the chance to learn more about the aircraft and their maintenance.

Helistar Aviation has been providing helicopter services to major clients since 2005.
We provide aviation solutions across Australia specialising in air work but also providing charter flights and helicopter training. We have proven expertise in highly specialised work such as powerline inspection and insulator washing, search & rescue work, filming for feature films and geophysical survey work in remote areas. Our key priority is your safety. To ensure we meet the highest levels of safety performance, we have implemented a Safety Management System that conforms to the International Civil Aviation Organisation’s safety management framework and to AS45001 for safety management systems. Key clients audit our safety management system on a regular basis and the international Flight safety Foundation audits Helistar annually and has certified it to meet its Gold BAR standard so you can rest assured that we conform to these standards.
