About the Position

AMS is seeking an experienced Manager Aerodrome Operations to join our team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and operational performance of AMS-managed aerodromes and Outports, providing direct support to Aerodrome Managers and acting as a key link between our operational sites and Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations across AMS Outports, working closely with Aerodrome Managers to monitor operational performance, resolve issues and ensure consistent service delivery.
• Support workforce planning, rostering, resourcing, leave planning, recruitment, training and performance management across the Outports.
• Support aerodrome compliance and operational readiness, including regulatory requirements, audits, emergency planning and exercises, aerodrome manuals, plans and associated documentation.
• Support the delivery of contractual obligations and customer expectations through operational reporting and performance monitoring.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing operational guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.

About You / Essential Requirements

• Previous experience in aerodrome operations, airport operations or a related aviation environment.
• Experience leading, coordinating or supporting operational teams and workforce planning.
• Aerodrome Reporting Officer Certificate.
• Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate.
• CASA DAMP Supervisor.
• Dangerous Goods Awareness.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.
• Hold or have the ability to obtain an ASIC.
• National Police Clearance.
