Airport Operations Supervisor

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Airport Operations Supervisor to join the Mount Isa team at Queensland Airports Limited (QAL). The Airport Operations Supervisor oversees airside safety, security, compliance, wildlife management, environmental obligations and emergency response activities, combining operational airport duties, people leadership and regulatory compliance responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the safe and secure day-to-day operation of the airport's airside environment
• Supervising and developing Aerodrome Reporting and Maintenance Officers to deliver high operational standards
• Managing airside safety, security, wildlife hazard management and emergency preparedness activities
• Monitoring compliance with aviation regulations, airport procedures and operational requirements
• Building effective relationships with airlines, contractors, tenants, regulators and other key stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, safety and service outcomes
