I led and supported technology transfer, aircraft modification, and multi-origin avionics integration, establishing capability for aircraft systems development, integration, testing, and qualification. I contributed to indigenizing more than 82% of the JF-17 Block III avionics suite and supported development and commissioning of 57 indigenous avionics testers, generating savings exceeding USD 45 million. I also enabled integration of avionics from multiple international sources, reducing OEM dependence and supporting customer-specific aircraft configurations.

I managed avionics repair, overhaul, rebuild, recovery, testing, and post-delivery support for JF-17, C-130, F-7P, Super Mushak, and rotary-wing aircraft systems. I developed an Electronic Assemblies Overhaul Work Procedure based on US Department of Defense Repair, Overhaul and Rebuild principles, including an Avionics Overhaul Decision Matrix. I managed intermediate, operational, and factory/depot-level testing and PMEL activities aligned with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and MIL-DTL-117.

Jul 2019 – Dec 2021

As Production Control Officer, I revamped Customer Furnished Equipment and Avionics Suite Management processes, improving coordination among production, engineering, quality, OEM, customer, and international partner stakeholders. I streamlined production and MRO monitoring through SOPs, job-card control, data analysis, and structured reporting, reducing delays affecting LRU production, repair, and delivery. I re-established JF-17 fleet configuration control covering configuration records, SILs, ECNs, modifications, rotable kits, and baseline changes.

Jul 2017 – Aug 2019

I served as Quality Assurance Inspector for SAAB 2000 Erieye and ZDK-03 AEW&C Ground Entry Stations, YLC-2A radar, and Next Generation Telecommunications Networks, ensuring technical quality, availability, and delivery standards. I monitored commissioning and installation of NGN infrastructure, maintaining main and standby communication routes and reducing disruption during transition from legacy copper networks. I worked with engineering, maintenance, IT, and private-sector vendors to verify quality, resolve technical issues, and achieve reliable commissioning and acceptance of mission-critical systems.

I provided operational and intermediate-level avionics support across fighter, transport, training, rotary-wing, and AEW&C aircraft, covering avionics, radar, ESM/ECM, communications, navigation, and surveillance systems. I performed fault isolation, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, functional testing, and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to maintain serviceability, reliability, and operational availability. I supported SAAB 2000 Erieye and ZDK-03 aircraft and Ground Entry Stations, including live data links, dedicated voice communications, and mission-control connectivity.
