Wymap Group is looking for motivated Casual Ground Handlers / Airline Service Operators to join our team at Sydney Airport.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the aviation industry while working in a fast-paced airside environment. You’ll play an important role in supporting aircraft operations and ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
About the Role
As part of our ground handling team, you will assist with the safe and efficient servicing of aircraft and airport operations. Duties may include operating ground support equipment, driving airside vehicles, and supporting aircraft turnaround activities while maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate ground support equipment (GSE) such as tugs and loaders
Drive airside vehicles including tugs and vans
Assist with aircraft servicing and turnaround activities
Work closely with team leaders and operational staff to meet service schedules and KPIs
Follow all WHS, aviation, and airport safety regulations
Complete operational paperwork, checklists, and activity reports
Communicate professionally with internal teams, customers, and airport authorities
Report hazards, incidents, and safety concerns as required
What We’re Looking For
Current valid driver’s licence
Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
Ability to obtain an Airside Driving Authority (ADA) highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with a strong safety focus
Reliable team player who can work in a fast-paced environment
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Flexible availability including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends
Previous aviation or ground handling experience is desirable but not required (full training provided)
