JOB PURPOSE

To supervise/support store personnel in their daily activities and tasks to ensure efficiency operation of Store/ Tool Store Section in respect with company policies and CAAM regulations.

STOREMAN

Receiving incoming items from shipping and sorting, labelling, and storing them in their allocated location. Additionally, to issue out items from warehouse to users and ensuring they are in good condition and accompanied with appropriate documents. Also to take appropriate actions on returned items including quarantine, scrap and return to vendor.

TOOL STOREMAN

The Tool Storeman shall order, receive, issue, secure, and maintain the inventory of all tools, special equipment and tool crib as per tool control program. Tool Storeman shall ensure tools and equipment are sent to test, repair, or calibration; and submit Daily Tool Report on status of Tools. Shall maintain tool records as per AD system and applicable instructions.

MAIN TASK AS STOREMAN/TOOL STOREMAN IN-CHARGE

  1. Manage roster for storeman to meet support requirements.
  2. Liaison with Base management especially EIC on supply chain matters.
  3. Ensuring compliance to SC process and procedure in Myy.
  4. Manage coordination of spares support for daily and heavy maintenance.
  5. Re-ordering to minimum stock levels for both aircraft consumables and non- aircraft sundry items. Ensure monitoring minimum stock holdings are maintained to support the operations.
  6. To ensure prepare and maintaining audits by authority/clients.

STOREMAN (AREA : BONDED STORE)

Receiving Items:

  1. Receiving items from shipping, check documentation accompanying and update records of receipt.
  2. Note condition of items and any damage or discrepancy in documents to be noted, item segregated and placed in quarantine and the matter reported to your superior.
  3. Label received items and indicate the storage location as contained in the records.
  4. Place items in their appropriate storage location, update records in inventory system and file all documents accordingly.

Issuing Items:

  1. On receipt of approved purchase requests, locate and retrieve items and issue as requested. Update parts issue records.
  2. File all documents in their appropriate files.
  3. Verify returned items, its condition, appropriate labels and other documents and process the items as required.

Returned Items:

  1. Place the returned items in the appropriate racks/quarantine as necessary and inform immediate supervisor for further action.
  2. Dispose returned items as directed by immediate supervisor.
  3. Prepare items for shipment back to vendors including appropriate protection, packaging and raising the appropriate Packing List.
  4. Carry out any other tasks given to you by immediate supervisor.

TOOL STOREMAN (AREA : TOOLS STORE)

  1. Receives, stocks, controls, and inventories tools, and support equipment in accordance with estabished procedures.
  2. Issues tools, test equipment, test measurement, diagnostic equipment, and support equipment from the tool store, and maintains strict accountability.
  3. Performs preventative and minor maintenance on tools and support equipment.
  4. Ensures tools and support equipment is clean, oiled, and serviceable.
  5. Marks and identifies tools and equipment for quick inventory.
  6. Ensures tools and equipment are sent to test, repair or calibration.
  7. Performs equipment custodian duties and manages the custodian authorization / custody receipt listing.
  8. Practise good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention and safety all times.
  9. May perform other duties related to the classification as assigned by immediate supervisor.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • SPM, preferred with credit in English
