Top Aces provides contracted adversary air (ADAIR) services and JTAC training to allied armed forces, operating a fleet of over 150 tactical aircraft including F-16s, A-4N Skyhawks, Alpha Jets, and Learjet 35As.
Top Aces is a contracted adversary air (ADAIR) and joint terminal attack controller (JTAC) training provider supporting allied armed forces. Founded in 2000 by former Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 fighter pilots, the company delivers advanced airborne combat training designed to raise operational readiness, with activity spanning Canada, the United States, Germany, Australia, other European countries, and NATO and partner nations.
The fleet exceeds 150 tactical aircraft and represents the largest fleet of commercially operated fighter aircraft in active service. Its multi-tiered line-up includes F-16 advanced aggressor fighters - Top Aces is the world's only commercial owner and operator of the F-16 - alongside A-4N Skyhawks, Alpha Jets, and Learjet 35As. The company has logged more than 140,000 accident-free flight hours.
Mission capability is built around the proprietary Advanced Aggressor Mission System (AAMS), an open architecture design integrating AESA radar, infrared search and track (IRST), and helmet mounted cueing systems. Technical work spans avionics and mission systems integration, open architecture systems design, and aircraft fleet sustainment and lifecycle extension, including efforts to extend the service life of military aircraft fleets and deliver cost efficiencies to customer air forces.
