Toll Aviation is seeking an experienced LAME B1.3 with AW139 Rating to support the mobilisation and delivery of a rotary-wing aviation contract(s). This full time 12 month contract is responsible for ensuring aircraft, tooling, safety equipment and maintenance systems are fully prepared to enable a safe, compliant and efficient commencement of operations.
Key Responsibilities
Work with and engage with subcontract providers, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective workforce management
Deliver contract maintenance tooling, GSE and safety inventory at the right locations and times
Provide technical leadership, standardisation and quality oversight across all maintenance activities
Plan and manage maintenance, fit-out work, aircraft modifications and repairs in line with contract scope
Manage technical documentation to ensure current, controlled data is available at all maintenance locations
Act as change manager for new technical processes and aircraft modification programs
Support engineering workforce performance, resource allocation and capability development
Undertaking Maintenance Aviation Safety Officer responsibilities within the maintenance organisation
Act as the engineering SME in contract management and client engagement forums
About You
You are a senior aviation maintenance professional with strong technical credibility, a hands-on approach to problem solving, and demonstrated experience leading teams in complex, highly regulated environments. You are safety-focused, commercially aware and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
Diploma or Cert IV Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics) or military equivalent
CASA Part 66 Licence with AW139 Type Rating (Mechanical or Avionics)
10+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance
Extensive experience delivering maintenance outcomes within an AMO / Part 145 (or military equivalent) organisation
Strong knowledge of CASA maintenance regulations and aviation safety systems
Demonstrated leadership and technical project management capability
Highly Desirable
Management experience within a Part 145 environment
Tertiary qualifications in Aviation Maintenance Management, Engineering, Business or Project Management
Business improvement certifications (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
