About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development (L&D) Officer to join our People team on a fixed-term parental leave cover. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination, delivery and administration of learning and development initiatives across the organisation.

What You Will Do

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive L&D framework aligned to business objectives, succession planning and talent development initiatives
  • Identify and implement innovative learning solutions and best-practice training methodologies
  • Facilitate and deliver internal training programs across the organisation
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs, including scheduling, provider management, logistics, resources and participant requirements
  • Manage training records, enrolments and compliance requirements, ensuring all mandatory training and recurrency obligations are maintained
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, reporting and data analysis
  • Support the organisation's Safety Management System through active participation in safety initiatives, compliance activities and risk mitigation processes

Who We Are Looking For

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE), required
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, Training, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Learning & Development or similar role
  • Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS), ELMO preferred
  • Proficiency in training design tools (Chameleon), Canva, and MS Office
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally to deliver training; aviation safety knowledge highly regarded

Eligibility

Must have full working rights in Australia, meet all airport security/vaccination requirements, and complete a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Screen and provide a current Police Clearance.
