Proficient and technically able to perform the following tasks
- Turning, boring, cylindrical grinding and surface grinding
- Set-up and operate conventional lathe, milling and grinding machines
- Use different types of measuring equipment to perform in-process inspection
- Check wheel balancing
- Interpretation of technical drawing
- Carry out good quality grinding work within job schedule
Requirements
- Preferably with grinding and machining experience in Aerospace component MRO environment
- Willingness to cross-train to operate conventional or CNC machines
- Good working attitude and display a keen interest to learn and excel
- Ability to work independently
- Attentive to details and ability to understand Component Maintenance Manuals
- Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping at all times
- Able to perform shiftwork (Morning and Afternoon on rotational basis), if necessary
(A practical test may be conducted to evaluate suitability of candidate)
