About the Role

This role drives continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across the business unit, coaching teams on the CI toolkit and leading Kaizen and lean process improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the deployment of the CI toolkit e-learning programme to the business unit
  • Provide coaching on the implementation of the eight CI toolkit disciplines
  • Follow up on the implementation of CI projects, including tracking project savings
  • Coach the business unit to carry out CI/VSM/Kaizen events and follow up on implementation plans
  • Manage the business unit CI assessment programme
  • Manage/support the CI Council and work plan
  • Manage the E-Control Tower for Commercial Aerospace
  • Support and facilitate improvement events: VSM, Kaizen, TPM, Changeover, etc.
  • Lead the implementation of Business Process CI
  • Act as Kaizen Sensei to manage Kaizen activities
  • Travel to sites independently to support CI work as required

Essential Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Technology/Business
  • At least two years' experience working as a Continuous Improvement change agent (Lean Expert/Practitioner)
  • Experience leading Kaizen events
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels

Desirable

  • Lean certification
  • Knowledge in Business Process CI
