About the Role
Sodexo is currently looking for an experienced Airport Attendant to join our Airport Team. This is a full-time FIFO position on a 2/1 roster and is a great opportunity for the right person with the right experience who excels in thinking outside the box to provide the highest level of service across the Airport on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team on the ground with hands-on work.
- Provide the highest level of service across the Airport.
- Use initiative and problem solving skills when challenges arise.
- Work on-site 11 hours per day on a 2:1 roster (two weeks at work and one week at home).
- Work effectively in remote and extreme environments.
About You
- Australian Citizenship or unrestricted working rights.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and police clearance.
- Experience in baggage handling and/or airport ground operations.
- Experience in airport ramp operations, aircraft marshalling, passenger services, or check-in (desirable).
- Previous FIFO experience in a similar aviation role (highly regarded).
- Aeronautical Aviation Radio Operators Certificate or Flight Radiotelephone Operators Licence.
- Aircraft Ground Handling qualifications and experience covering F100, B737 and A320 aircraft types.
