About the Role
Based at the Brisbane, QLD workshop, the Field Technician plays a critical role maintaining and servicing aviation fuel infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting seamless fuel delivery to aviation partners. This field-based role requires regular travel to airport locations within QLD and across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on aviation fuel systems and equipment
- Assist with installation and commissioning of new fuel infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the field
- Maintain accurate records and reports of service activities
Essential Requirements
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, automotive or fuel systems maintenance
- Deep understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Willingness to travel frequently and work independently
- Current driver's licence (HR or MR advantageous)
Desirable
- Welding/fabrication experience or qualifications
- Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, Fabrication, Boilermaker etc.)
- NMI certification for meter calibration
