About the Role

Skyfuel currently has an opportunity for an Aircraft Refueller at Alice Springs Airport, suited to someone who wants to stay active and has an interest in the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities

Primarily working on tarmac looking after customers and Into Plane Fuelling
Driving fuel dispensers (including Heavy Rigid vehicles)
Performing, monitoring and testing fuel and fuelling equipment
Fuel release
Working at heights
Manual handling and data entry
Providing high levels of customer service
Fuel quality control (testing)

Essential Requirements

Strong work ethic and customer focus, with strong communication skills and a positive outlook
Reliable and trustworthy, with strong attention to detail
Strong commitment to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) practices
Heavy rigid (HR) licence
Able to demonstrate mechanical aptitude
Flexibility to cover changing workload demand within an airport operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and to be rostered over both operation locations
Pre-employment medical and health assessment required, along with random medical, drug and alcohol assessments, federal security clearance and ability to obtain an Australian Security Identification Card (ASIC)

Desirable

Dangerous Goods licences.
