About the Company

SAESL is a joint venture company between Rolls-Royce Plc and SIA Engineering Company. The company first started operations in 2001 and has since become a market leader for both engine overhaul and component repair services. SAESL's Engine Overhaul business has the capability to service all products in the Trent engine family, including Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB — SAESL is the only Trent engine MRO that can support all product variants, with capacity to repair and overhaul over 300 Trent engines per year.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Wellness & Culture Leadership

  • Champion organisation-wide wellness strategies and programmes aligned with business needs and workforce sustainability goals
  • Drive a culture of care, resilience, and psychological safety by embedding wellbeing into everyday practices
  • Act as a visible advocate for employee wellbeing and engagement across the employee lifecycle
  • Lead initiatives that strengthen workplace culture, fostering inclusivity, collaboration, and respect

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Provide strategic oversight for employee relations, with emphasis on trust, fairness, and positive outcomes
  • Guide and support leaders in addressing workplace concerns through early intervention and coaching
  • Enhance employee engagement through recognition programmes, feedback channels, and initiatives that build belonging and collaboration
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather insights and translate findings into actionable talent retention strategies

Regulatory & Policy Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with the Singapore Employment Act, MOM regulations, and tripartite guidelines
  • Adhere to aviation industry standards and internal governance frameworks
  • Review and implement policies related to wellness, conduct, and performance management

Leadership Partnership & Advisory

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce wellbeing, engagement trends, and wellness-related risks
  • Partner with leaders to embed positive culture practices into decision-making and team management

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • More than 10 years of relevant working experience
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, employee wellness, and HR governance
  • Strong knowledge of the Employment Act, MOM regulations, and tripartite guidelines
  • Familiar with performance management frameworks
  • Proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels, balancing empathy with firmness
  • Experience handling sensitive employee cases with professionalism and discretion
  • Ability to influence without authority and effectively partner with senior stakeholders
