Aircraft Mechanic (A&P / Avionics) – SIA Engineering Philippines

Qualifications

• With at least 5 years' experience and certification of the A320/A330/B737/B777 aircrafts.
• Must have recent certifying experience for 6 months in the last 24 months.
• At least MR authorization holder.
• Must have aircraft type ratings and trainings (Level 2 or 3)
• A holder of a valid CAAP AMT License with A&P / Avionics rating.
• A graduate of Bachelor/ Associate in Aircraft Maintenance Technology.
• With good knowledge and skills with aircraft maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Serves to provide practical maintenance skill to aircraft maintenance tasks, as the authorized certifying staff or under the direct supervision of senior & delegated certifying staff.
• Has the responsibility to apply, process, and be granted the organizations certifying staff program. And responsible for aircraft tasks documentations as lead or support staff.
• Adheres to the company policies and procedures.
• Conscious compliance and acknowledgement of regulatory determined limitations and provisions.
• Attends and participates on section and/or company briefings, meetings, and general announcements.
• Adheres to the controls of resources such as staff, materials, tooling & equipment, documents, in work area, in an efficient manner which involves planning, preparation, organizing, execution, and reporting.
• Generates and/or sends on time progress updates, status reports of assigned task.
• Timely response time for inquiries and accommodation of required entries.
• Has taken priority to be within or exactly on pre-determined dates such as milestones, timelines critical path, fixed deadlines and drop dates. For all tasks, daily processes with critical hour specified entries, program schedules and projects.
• Observes and functions as lead to standard housekeeping.
• Takes-up pending tasks that are not directly assigned, but are, within limitations of position and section. With conscious engagement to update the section of the taken job.
• Mandatory to observe logbook entries of task considered as OJT aircraft maintenance task. And the preparation of requirements to become a maintenance certifying staff.
