Scoot

Singapore-based low-cost airline and wholly-owned Singapore Airlines subsidiary, operating a network of over 80 destinations across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Europe since 2012.

Scoot is a Singapore-based low-cost carrier and wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, operating budget services across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Europe. Established in 2011, the airline flew its first revenue service in June 2012 and has since built a network spanning more than 80 destinations in 18 countries. In July 2017 it absorbed Tigerair Singapore, consolidating the group's low-cost operations under a single AOC and brand.

Operating out of its Singapore base, the carrier runs a dual-cabin product structure: Standard Economy, offering value-led fares, and ScootPlus, a premium cabin with wider leather seats, complimentary Wi-Fi, enhanced baggage allowances and meals. Its loyalty programme is integrated with the wider Singapore Airlines ecosystem, linking low-cost operations with the group's frequent-flyer and commercial infrastructure. Technical and operational work spans airline network operations, aviation operations and loyalty programme integration.

The airline positions itself around making air travel accessible while retaining the essential travel experience, with flexible booking options for customers. Internally, the operation is shaped by a culture the carrier terms "Scootitude" - a focus on travel, and on connecting people and cultures across its regional and long-haul network.
