About the Role

We are seeking two motivated Electrical & Mechanical Assemblers to join our growing team, working on the assembly, wiring, testing, and manufacture of high-quality electromechanical products. This hands-on role is ideal for trade-qualified professionals with strong mechanical aptitude, electrical wiring experience, and a commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble various components including stators, rotors, windings, housings, and hardware
• Perform wiring, soldering, and electrical interconnection tasks per engineering drawings
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and work instructions
• Conduct basic functional testing including insulation resistance and continuity checks
• Work collaboratively with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and safety

Essential Requirements

• Trade qualification or higher in Engineering or Manufacturing (or trade qualification in Electrical, Electro-mechanical, or similar field)
• Proven experience in electrical wiring and component assembly, or mechanical assembly and fabrication
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and SOPs
• Familiarity with precision torqueing, alignment, and assembly tools
• Ability to perform basic electrical tests (multimeter, megger, etc.)
• Knowledge of panel wiring, switchboards, or electrical control systems
• Computer literacy, including understanding of 3D models and extraction of key data to support production

Desirable

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Dual-trade background (Electrical + Mechanical)

Due to the nature of the work and customer requirements, applicants may be required to hold Australian citizenship and meet ITAR/EAR compliance as part of employment eligibility. Successful applicants may be required to undergo a police check, obtain a Commonwealth defence security clearance, and participate in random drug and alcohol screening.
