We offer a full range of scenic, charter and aerial work services from our base here at Wollongong Airport, ideally located in the heart of the Illawarra region of NSW, and less than 2 hours drive south from the centre of Sydney. Our carefully selected team of industry professionals – including highly experienced pilots, managers and support personnel – enable us to collaborate to provide an agile, considered and effective response for your every requirement. Combined with a fleet comprising 9 helicopters, a 30,000 litre fuel truck, 3 ground support utility vehicles and a mobile spares and maintenance unit, our operational capacity is virtually unlimited. AIR T&G owners Tim and Georgina Latimer began operations from the Ballina Byron Gateway Airport in 2006, with their first helicopter, a Bell 47. Nowadays, the company’s fleet comprises 5 aircraft including their original Bell, Robinson R22, Robinson R44, Bell 206 Longranger and a Bell 205 UH1H (also known as a Huey). With a shared passion for helicopters and a background of working in North West Queensland, the NT, and Papua New Guinea, Tim and Georgina have built a respected flight training school, charter and airwork/utility operation and pride themselves on ensuring the highest safety standards and customer service, whilst offering a personalised family run business approach. With over 20 years in the aviation industry, and nearly 20,000 hours combined flying time, our team of professional pilots and crew will ensure your experience at AIR T&G will be safe, enjoyable and meet your objectives.

Precision Helicopters is a safe and efficient helicopter service in NSW that has been established since 1993. We expanded our operations from our initial base at Barraba to include bases in Coffs Harbour, Quirindi and Gloucester. We provide a premium service utilising highly experienced pilots to ensure safe cost-effective operations. We have eight helicopters within the company with several different types to select from. Seven of the helicopters are single engine turbine which is used for most of our aerial work operations and one twin-engine turbine for those larger tasks. Our Longranger based at Coffs Harbour has floats for over water flights.

Ace Helicopter Services offers a wide range of professional aerial solutions across Central and Northern Queensland. With approvals for various airwork an Air Transport operations, we specialize in aerial photography, survey work, emergency flood and fire response, animal control, Charter/ Air Transport, and external load operations. Backed by local knowledge and years of flying experience, we deliver safe, efficient services tailored to both civil and rural industries.

United Aero Helicopters was formed by Jim Norrie and Sam Borg with the aim of providing a first class helicopter service specialising in the fields of fire fighting and remote area utility support. The company’s management team has been involved in the industry for over 24 years as both pilots and managers of multiple aircraft organisations. We have gained through these years of operating helicopters on a variety of tasks, a reputation for providing an efficient and safe service to our clients. United Aero Helicopters manages and operates a fleet of up to 16 single and multi-engine helicopters. These include AS350 BA, B2 & B3 Squirrel helicopters, Bell 206 Jet Ranger & Long Ranger models, Augusta 119 Koala, Kawasaki BK117 and Bell 212 medium helicopters Our management team has vast experience in the operation of a mixed fleet over remote areas including operations in third world countries. We have developed many systems that monitor the maintenance of the aircraft and the pilots fatigue to ensure both compliance and safe operation. Our control systems have been tested over many years and are effective even throughout the largest of campaign fires. These systems add to our ability to ensure the supply of service. Our service does not conclude when the aircraft finish flying. We are available to our clients 24 hours a day through our communication network and beyond the operational scope; we are always willing to assist the client with advice on any industry issues. Over the past 15 years our team has worked with Energy Companies, Fire and Emergency agencies, Agricultural agencies and Emergency Services including: QLD Dept. of Emergency Services, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW State Emergency Service, National Parks and Wildlife Service NSW, APLC, Department of Agriculture, Tasmania Fire Service and the ACT Rural Fire Service.
