About us
OneReg sits at the cutting edge of aviation and SaaS, helping shape the future of aviation compliance. Our platform brings together real-time oversight, unified information management and smarter workflows, helping aviation organisations move away from manual, complex processes and into a more connected, configurable SaaS product world.
We’re growing fast and scaling globally, and we’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Customer Operations team in New Zealand, deepening our relationships with some of the world’s most recognisable airports and airlines.
About the role
You'll own and grow a portfolio of OneReg customer relationships post-implementation, building trusted, multi-level relationships within customer organisations and driving deeper platform adoption. As your customers' primary commercial point of contact, you'll proactively identify opportunities to expand OneReg's footprint through upsell and cross-sell, working closely with Customer Success, Product, and Sales to make sure customers get maximum value from the platform.
You'll report to the General Manager, Customer Operations, and play a key role in retention, expansion revenue, and the overall health of our customer base.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across a portfolio of aviation customers, engaging stakeholders from operational users through to senior leadership and Accountable Executives.
- Run regular account touchpoints, business reviews, and roundtables to stay close to customer priorities and regulatory pressures.
- Track platform adoption across your accounts, working with Customer Success to close usage gaps and build account plans that deepen OneReg usage.
- Monitor account health — usage, engagement, satisfaction, renewal risk — and proactively address early warning signs.
- Identify, qualify, and progress upsell and cross-sell opportunities across OneReg's module set and adjacent services.
- Lead or support commercial conversations, including renewals, contract variations, and expansion agreements.
- Contribute to retention and expansion revenue targets, with accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Regulatory & Industry Engagement to ensure a joined-up customer experience.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in aviation and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and compliance software platforms.
- Proven experience in an Account Management, Customer Success, or Relationship Management role, ideally within B2B SaaS in Aviation in New Zealand.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and navigate complex customer organisations, including airports and airlines.
- A track record of identifying and converting upsell/cross-sell opportunities within an existing customer base.
- Strong commercial acumen, with comfort leading contract and pricing conversations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical or regulatory detail into clear customer value.
- Highly organised, with strong account planning and pipeline management discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience working directly with regulators or industry bodies.
- Background in account management within another regulated or safety-critical industry.
- Exposure to contract negotiation or commercial legal processes.
About you
You’re commercially minded and relationship-driven, and you enjoy being the trusted point of contact for complex, multi-stakeholder accounts. You’re equally comfortable discussing regulatory pressures with an Accountable Executive and spotting a genuine expansion opportunity. You bring structure and discipline to account planning and forecasting, and you thrive working cross-functionally to get the right outcome for the customer and for OneReg.
