About the Role
We have an opportunity for a Chief Engineer to be part of our Aviation Command team. The Chief Engineer is responsible for managing the Aviation Command Engineering department within a highly regulated legislative and budgetary framework to ensure ongoing safe operations.
Ongoing full-time position based at Bankstown Aerodrome.

Salary & Allowances
$140,740 – $150,109 per annum. In addition, the position occupant may be eligible to be paid a $20,000 Skills Shortage Allowance in accordance with "C2025-09 Skills Shortage Allowance Implementation Guidelines" for a 2-year period (subject to satisfying eligibility criteria). Any extension beyond the 2-year period will be subject to further review and delegate approval.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma in Aeroskills (Mechanical or Avionics) or equivalent industry experience
- Holder of B1.3 turbine helicopter CASA Part 66 Licence related to Aviation Command aircraft, OR
- Holder of B2 (Avionics) CASA Part 66 Licence related to Aviation Command aircraft, OR
- Holder of B1.1 turbine fixed wing CASA Part 66 Licence related to Aviation Command aircraft
