Our history dates back to 1879 when the wineglass brand was first registered and the CPC portfolio was first consolidated as a company in 1983. Consolidated Pastoral Company (CPC) is a leading Australian managed, UK owned Agribusiness with strong ESG values. CPC owns and operates a portfolio of nine station aggregations in Australia and two feedlots in Indonesia. Across more than 3.2m hectares of land, the CPC team can care for more than 300,000 head of cattle and produce a diverse range of crops. With an asset base in excess of AUD$1 billion, CPC supplies a variety of domestic and international customers. CPC owns a 90% interest in PT. Juang Jaya Abdi Alam (PT. JJAA), the other 10% being owned by our Indonesian joint venture partner. PT JJAA was first established in 2000 and now operates two feedlots in Indonesia, located in Lampung (South Sumatera) and North Sumatera. The Lampung feedlot has a capacity of 28,000 head, while the North Sumatera feedlot has a capacity of 7,500 head; both facilities are “best in class” operations. CPC direct sales channels primarily involve selling cattle and beef to Asian consumer markets, domestic feedlots or exporting processors, and exporting live cattle. CPC is owned by Guy and Julia Hands through the Hands Family Office. Terra Firma (UK) (owned by Guy Hands) is the investment manager of CPC for the Hands Family Office.

The McDonald family has a long association with rural Australia dating back to 1827 and the first shipment of cattle to Tasmania. The current MDH aggregation of properties was founded by A.J. (Jim) McDonald who searched for cattle country around Cloncurry in the 1940s. Jim McDonald purchased Brightlands Station in 1946 after deciding the sugar industry was encroaching on his pastoral holdings around Proserpine. Over the next 60 years the family acquired properties strategically located throughout Queensland to drought proof the cattle operation. The McDonald family still live and work on the founding property Brightlands and nearby Devoncourt Station. If you ever contact MDH, there’s a good chance a member of the family will be on the other side of the phone talking to you. Sticking true to our values and passions, we pride ourselves on our point of difference in the cattle industry. MDH isn’t a company with glamorous offices in highrises, and our boardroom discussions can happen around a table, or under a tree near a set of cattle-yard with equal effect. We’re at our best when we’re out on our properties, working together.

Balonne Airwork is a pilot owned and operated aerial agricultural services business, with a strong reputation for delivering quality services to all sizes of farming enterprises from family run farms to large corporations. Established in 2003, Balonne Airwork has our head office near St George and provide services to a broad client base from southern Queensland and northern NSW. Our operations are highly mobile and we can often be spotted at places like Dirranbandi, Hebel, Cunnamulla, Surat, Westmar, Nindigully, Thallon or north-western NSW.

4H Helicopters Pty Ltd is a family-owned company that specializes in mustering opperations. We provide servies to the cattle regions west to north-west Queensland, into the Gulf and Barkly Tablelands of NT. We are located just outside of Charters Towers and are only 150km from the city of Townsville. In addition to our mustering services, we also offer comprehensive Mustering training programs and Mustering Endorsements for pilots wishing to have a career in the mustering industry.
