Nauru Airlines operate passenger and freight services to and from the Central Pacific with our fleet of 737 classic and NG aircraft. Nauru Airlines is based in Brisbane CBD and operates under a CASA AOC.
We seek a dedicated Operations Control Centre (OCC) Officer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the OCC Manager, this pivotal role supports our day-to-day operational control, ensuring our fleet's smooth and efficient management for scheduled and charter flights.
This role works a 4 on/4 off roster (2 days and 2 nights)
Your Responsibilities (Accountabilities):
Maintaining overall control of Nauru Airlines Day of Operations
The operational valuation of charter requests
The control of crewing, duty limitations, and rostering of crew on the day of operations in accordance with company and regulatory requirements
The evaluation of navigational, meteorological, aircraft performance, and flight planning-related operational factors
Ensuring the provision of flight planning and flight-following functions
Providing safe operations delivery functions including operations control, dispatch, co-ordination of fleet technical and other operational services per SOPs and regulatory requirements
Ensuring compliance and support of the Safety Management System and associated Company policies and procedures
Provide operational solutions for disruptions and service recovery to safely protect customers, crew, and aircraft and restore the scheduled services
Monitoring and coordination of Airline third-party providers
Maintaining the Operations Control System to allocate aircraft and other flying resources for use in Airline operations
Track on Time Performance reporting, delay investigation, and sustainable corrective actions with Ground Handlers, Maintenance services, Crew, and other providers
Key Selection Criteria:
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position or airline operations role.
Previous experience in an Aviation Operations Centre and Flight Planning/Dispatch/Flight Following (Desirable).
CPL or ATPL theory or recognised Flight Dispatcher Licence (Desirable).
Demonstrate intermediate to advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
Demonstrated competence in use of OCC operational programs.
Have the following: Current unrestricted Passport (minimum of 6-months validity), ability to hold an ASIC, and immunisation history statement with all immunisations required by Nauru Airlines and relevant authorities in the port of entry as part of their work related travel.
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of CASA regulations and applicable CASR’s
