About the Role

We are currently seeking a full time Aviation Maintenance Technician based at our MTU office in Canning Vale, Western Australia.

Area of Responsibility

• Carrying out on-site and in-house aircraft engine maintenance (disassembly/assembly and repair work) on our approved Turbofan engine types.
• Perform detailed Turbine engine borescope inspections and create corresponding reports.
• Technical Turbofan engine support for customers on-site.
• Processing and execution of required aeronautical product maintenance documentation to a high technical standard.
• Ensuring compliance with our exposition working under CASA Part 145 approval.
• Following Quality and Safety procedures, adhering to SMS and DAMP policies.

Requirements

• Qualification related to Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Part 145 or equivalent).
• Minimum 3+ years in a similar position.
• Knowledge of applicable CASA Part 145 and Part 42 legislation, regulations, standards and internal best practices.
• Must have experience on aircraft turbofan engines.
• Willingness to travel and to perform hands-on maintenance work.
