The Ground Support Officer - Darwin supports pilots with pre and post flight activities, managing hangar and crew facilities, coordinating aircraft refuelling, overseeing equipment and vehicle maintenance, and handling essential administrative duties. The Ground Support Officer - Darwin plays a vital role in maintaining operational continuity, safety, and overall flight readiness at the base.

What You’ll Do:
In this hands on role, you’ll play an important part in supporting day-to-day flight operations and keeping our bases running smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities will include:
Support flight operations with a range of pre-flight and post-flight activities as required.
Coordinate and assist with logistics for equipment, packages, and personnel, including providing transport and handling deliveries.
Order, manage, and monitor fuel supplies in line with handling, storage, and safety requirements.
Maintain accurate records of company equipment, resources, and stock levels across all facilities.
Help maintain safe, clean, and well presented hangar and base facilities, including managing consumable stock levels.
Assist with the upkeep of company vehicles and base properties, including basic gardening, cleaning, and general facilities tasks.
Provide administrative and logistical support, including liaising with suppliers, contractors, and third parties as required.
Support general operational and logistics tasks as directed by management to improve efficiency and safety.
Be flexible and willing to undertake a wide range of duties to support the operation.
Travel to Microflite’s remote base in Broome, NT, as operationally required.

Experience supporting flight operations, including helping with pre-flight and post-flight activities.
The ability to help maintain safe, tidy, and well organised hangar and base facilities, including managing consumable stock levels.
Confidence carrying out general upkeep of company vehicles and base properties, including basic cleaning, gardening, and housekeeping tasks.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to keep track of equipment, supplies, and records.
Experience providing transport for personnel and handling deliveries of equipment, gear, or packages.
The ability to deal with suppliers, contractors, and other third parties in a professional and practical way.
Basic administrative skills to support day-to-day operational and logistics tasks.
A flexible, can do attitude and a willingness to pitch in across a wide range of duties to support safety and operational efficiency.
