About Maroomba Airlines

Nantay Pty Ltd, trading as Maroomba Airlines, operates a fleet of Dash 8-100 and Dash 8-300 aircraft, with the Dash 8-400 soon to join our growing fleet. We proudly serve a diverse portfolio of valued clients and continue to expand our route structure and operations. Our primary operations support the FIFO industry within approximately two hours of Perth.

The Maroomba team is made up of professional, safety-focused and customer-oriented individuals who are committed to operational excellence.

The Role

As our business grows, we are seeking experienced and type-rated Dash 8 Captains to lead aircraft operations across all phases of flight — pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight. As a Captain at Maroomba Airlines, you are not only responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, but you are also a leader.

Minimum Requirements

Essential

  • Valid Australian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
  • Right to live and work in Australia
  • Command Instrument Rating
  • Current CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate

Desirable

  • Operational experience relative to Maroomba Airlines route structure (e.g. remote areas, non-certified aerodromes, non-instrument approach airports)

Experience

Essential

  • Total Flight Time: 2,000 hrs (minimum; 3,000 hrs preferred)
  • Total Command Time: Minimum 2,500 hrs
  • Total Multi-Engine Command Time: Minimum 500 hrs
  • Dash 8 Type Rating (comparable types considered)
