About the Role
This is a 2-year fixed term contract role. We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to support the delivery of a new build for transitioning our LifeFlight Training Academy and to support other key future infrastructure projects.
The role requires the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing technical, commercial, and stakeholder priorities to ensure on-time, in scope, and on-budget outcomes. The position will deliver a safe, high-quality, and compliant project outcome that support LifeFlight’s operational and strategic training capabilities.
This role sits within the Project & Property Management Office and reports to the General Manager, Group Finance & PPMO. It offers the opportunity to manage meaningful projects that support operational and training capability across the organisation.
This position is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and projects, from initial planning through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
You’ll work across multiple projects at different stages, coordinating internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Manage delivery of infrastructure and facility projects from initiation to completion
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
Coordinate contractors, consultants, and suppliers
Monitor progress and manage risks, issues, and reporting
Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and governance requirements
Work closely with internal teams including operations, engineering, and training
Support tender processes, business cases, and project documentation
As this is a lean team, the role requires someone comfortable taking ownership and working across both delivery and coordination activities.
About You
You’ll bring practical experience managing infrastructure or technical facility projects, along with the ability to work across a range of stakeholders.
Degree (or equivalent) in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Business or similar
Around 5+ years’ experience delivering infrastructure or facility-based projects
Strong understanding of project governance, WHS, and contract administration
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
Sound communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera)
Desirable:
Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or similar)
Exposure to procurement, tendering, or funding processes
