About the Role
  
Our Aeromedical Evacuation Specialists (AES) are at the heart of LifeFlight’s jet operations, coordinating complex domestic and international aeromedical missions along with bespoke charter operations where precision, speed, and care matter most.
  
Based in our 24/7 Communications, Coordination and Control Centre in the Brisbane CBD, you’ll help deploy our fixed-wing fleet, working closely with medical teams, aviation partners, government agencies, and international stakeholders to deliver seamless, high-quality outcomes for patients and clients.
  
This is a full-time role offering a rotating 12-hour day and night roster, supporting work–life balance while keeping you at the frontline of operations.
  
In this role, you will:  

  • Coordinate and plan domestic and international aeromedical jet missions

  • Manage crewing, aviation services, and logistical support

  • Identify and mitigate operational, medical, and environmental risks

  • Maintain accurate mission documentation and reporting

  • Liaise with clients, medical facilities, airlines, embassies, and government partners

About You

You’re a calm, capable professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and brings an understanding of aviation regulations and procedural compliance. Highly organised and solutions-focused, you balance attention to detail with the ability to think critically and adapt as situations evolve.
  
You’ll also bring:  

  • Experience in corporate/business jet operations, including visas, customs, immigration, and coordination with overseas partners

  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with a focus on accuracy and clear reporting

  • Confident written and verbal communicator, able to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Client-focused and committed to delivering high-quality service and continuous improvement

  • A collaborative team player who can confidently support or lead to achieve positive patient outcomes

  • Practical, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work across the organisation

  • Comfortable using Microsoft applications and quick to learn new systems
