About LifeFlight

LifeFlight Australia is a leading aeromedical organisation dedicated to saving lives through rapid response medical services. Operating a fleet of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft, LifeFlight delivers critical care and emergency retrievals across Queensland and beyond. In addition to its lifesaving missions, LifeFlight runs a world-class training academy, equipping aviation and medical professionals with the skills needed for high-pressure environments. Our mission is to provide the highest standard of care and make a real difference in the communities we serve.

About the Role

At the heart of every mission we fly is a team that makes it possible.

Our Aeromedical Coordination Specialists (ACS) are critical to delivering LifeFlight’s life-saving aeromedical services. From emergency responses to inter-facility patient transfers, ACS team members work in our state-of-the-art Communications, Coordination, and Control Centre—the 24/7 hub that keeps our operations running smoothly.

As an ACS, you’ll coordinate the deployment of our fixed and rotary wing aircraft, liaising with healthcare providers, emergency services, and internal teams to ensure every mission is delivered safely, efficiently, and with care. Reporting to the Duty Tasking Managers, you'll serve as a key contact point for mission coordination and operational inquiries.

We’re currently looking for an Aeromedical Coordination Specialists to join our passionate, high-performing team in Brisbane’s CBD. This full-time role operates on a rotating 12-hour shift pattern: two day shifts, two night shifts, followed by four days off—offering a unique work-life rhythm.

If you thrive in high-pressure environments, have a passion for helping people, and want to play a vital role in supporting communities across Queensland and beyond, we’d love to hear from you.

About You

You’re a confident, solutions-focused communicator who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. While experience in aviation is a bonus, it’s not essential—we’re looking for someone who can think on their feet, prioritise effectively, and adapt quickly to change.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong customer service skills with a continuous improvement mindset

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • The ability to stay calm, organised, and focused under pressure

  • Sharp attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach

  • Confidence using digital systems, with the ability to learn new tools quickly

  • A team player attitude with the initiative to lead when needed

This is a great opportunity to step into a dynamic role that helps deliver real impact to communities in need.
