Liebherr-Aerospace designs, manufactures and services aircraft systems, supplying ultra-precise aerospace components for use on aircraft. The division sits within the Liebherr group, a family-owned manufacturer founded in 1949 by Hans Liebherr, whose first product was the world's first mobile tower crane. Support for the installed base includes an MRO repair shop for Liebherr aerospace components located in Singapore.

The aerospace business is one of 13 product segments spanning construction machinery, mobile cranes, mining equipment, wind energy technology, hydrogen power systems and intelligent automation. Group scale runs to more than 50,000 employees across over 150 companies in 50-plus countries, with operations rooted in Germany and a global footprint. Engineering work across the segments ranges from mining excavators to sustainable energy solutions, including wind energy and hydrogen-powered construction sites.

Liebherr is 100% owned by the Liebherr family across three generations, and states that long-term thinking outweighs short-term gains. The company describes its operating principles as exceptional engineering, unwavering quality and practical innovation - a culture of inventor's curiosity applied across heavy machinery and aerospace components alike.
