About the Role
John Cameron Aviation is seeking a technician to join our Moorebank facility focusing on slides and rafts. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a respected name in the aviation industry and contribute to the safety of air travel worldwide. Monday–Friday role. This is a hands-on role requiring good mechanical knowledge; experience and knowledge of working with high-pressure functionality is desired.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and perform high-quality maintenance and repair work in accordance with approved maintenance data.
- Ensure full compliance with aviation regulatory frameworks and internal quality policies.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to prioritise and manage workload.
- Consistently demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working in a mechanical environment.
- Experience and understanding of working with high-pressure functionality.
- Good understanding of basic maintenance standards and safety protocols.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
Desirable
- Aviation experience (not essential, as full training will be given).
