About the Company

We're Jetstar. Each week we operate around 3,000 flights to nearly 40 destinations across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific, operating a fleet of more than 80 aircraft, including Airbus A320/A321 NEO and A320 family aircraft and Boeing 787-8s.

About the Role

As our Fleet and Network Coordination Senior Analyst, you'll play a key role in coordinating Jetstar Airways' future network and fleet strategy across Australian Domestic and International markets. You will provide the analysis and recommendations that help inform decisions on network growth, fleet deployment, operational deliverability and long-term planning. Partnering with stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Finance and the broader Qantas Group, you'll develop five and ten-year plans, support conceptual schedule and network scenarios, assess fleet and operational constraints, and help validate the deliverability of future network plans. This is a permanent, full-time position based at Docklands Head Office.

Essential Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in network planning, schedule planning, strategic planning, operational planning or a related commercial function
  • Experience in schedule planning, particularly long-term planning, scenario modelling and operational feasibility assessments, with airline scheduling experience highly regarded
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to assess profitability, customer outcomes, fleet utilisation and business trade-offs
  • Highly analytical and confident translating complex data and assumptions into practical insights and recommendations
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Commercial, Operations, Engineering, Finance and executive leadership teams
  • Experience developing business cases, strategic plans or network scenarios that inform future growth decisions
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, economics, engineering, mathematics or related discipline

Desirable

Experience with airline planning, scheduling or modelling systems, with exposure to Amadeus Sky Suite or similar tools; experience within aviation, transport, logistics or other complex network-based industries.
