About the role:
We are now seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the role of a full time DHC-2 Seaplane Pilot for tourism and charter operations. The position will require the candidate to reside on Hamilton Island or in Airlie Beach. Reporting to the Fixed Wing Specialist, the role will support the day to day operations of the Fixed Wing team.
Your primary responsibilities will be to provide safe, professional and compliant line pilot operations as per the company operations manual, company SOPs, Aircraft flight manual, AIP, ERSA and CASA Rules & Regulations.
About you:
The minimum requirements of the role are as follows:
CPL (A)
500 hours total time PIC
250 hours seaplane experience
350 water landings
DHC-2 endorsement or similar
Amphibian experience is essential
Current DG
Current ASIC
Current HUET Course
Australian Citizen, resident or Visa holder with full working rights
Pre-employment DAMP test must be completed prior to employment
A satisfactory target score in a Pre-Employment Compass Pilot Aptitude Test
Desirable qualifications:
50 hours PIC DHC-2
Open water experience
GA-8 Airvan experience
Preference will be given to applicants who have a hospitality/tourism background and/or customer service background
