Global Airspace Solutions (GAS) is an Australian based aviation consulting company with current CASR Part 173 certification located in Albury, New South Wales. We are specialised in providing Instrument Flight Procedure Designs to both civilian and military aerodromes and providing ICAO PANS-OPS training. Our services include assessing proposed developments against the OLS and PANS-OPS surfaces as well as providing IFP feasibility studies for aerodromes wishing to upgrade their facilities. Global Airspace Solutions has certification from the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) under the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations Part 173 and ICAO recognition to design non-precision and precision approaches in Australia. Our team has a strong history in aviation. We have broad experience in Airlines, Military, General Aviation, Emergency Aviation Services, Aviation Project Management, Aircraft Performance Analysis and Air Traffic Control, in Australia and overseas. The team at Global Airspace Solutions offer a full range of Instrument Flight Procedure Design Services for regional aerodrome operators through to major international aerodromes.

Role Description

This is a casual/part-time position, suitable for retirees, for an experienced Instrument Flight Procedure Designer who can be based anywhere in Australia or New Zealand. Occasional travel to our office located in Albury, NSW, may be required. The role involves developing and designing flight procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards as well as assessing proposed development to determine their impact on existing aircraft operations.

Requirements

• Right to live and work in Australia

• Successful completion of Basic and Advanced PANS-OPS Course

• Successful completion of OJT of both conventional and PBN procedures

• Experience in working with FPDAM or PDToolkit

• Previous Australian design experience is an advantage

• Previous experience as Aircrew or Air Traffic Controller is an advantage

• Previous experience as an OJTI or theoretical knowledge instructor is an advantage
