FlightSafety International provides simulator-based pilot, technician and crew training for business, regional, commercial and government aviation, and manufactures simulation devices and visual systems.

FlightSafety International delivers simulator-based training for pilots, maintenance technicians, dispatchers, schedulers and cabin safety personnel across business, regional and commercial aviation, as well as government and military operators. Established in 1951 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, the company operates what it describes as the world's largest fleet of advanced full-flight simulators, supporting type-specific and recurrent programmes built around patented instruction methods, immersive technology and a wide range of training scenarios.

The instructor cadre exceeds 1,600, delivering tailored instruction to trainees drawn from 167 countries. Training centres are located in the United States, Canada, France and the United Kingdom, with original operations dating to the Marine Air Terminal at New York's LaGuardia Airport. FlightSafety International is a Berkshire Hathaway company.

Alongside training delivery, the Simulation Products division designs and manufactures simulation devices and ultra-high-definition visual systems for commercial, government and military organisations worldwide. Core technical domains span flight simulation, simulation device engineering, high-definition visual systems, immersive training technology and aviation instruction methods - disciplines that underpin both the training programmes and the hardware supplied to external operators.
