Embraer is a Brazilian aerospace manufacturer founded in 1969 and ranked as the world's third-largest aircraft manufacturer. More than 9,000 aircraft have been delivered across five decades of production, and the company's commercial, executive and defence types operate with airlines in over 100 countries - an Embraer aircraft takes off somewhere in the world every 10 seconds. Headcount stands at over 20,000 employees worldwide.

Product lines span commercial aviation aircraft, executive jets and defence and security solutions, alongside a services and support operation built around aircraft lifecycle coverage. That network comprises 14 MRO facilities and more than 80 authorised service centers, staffed by some 4,000 services employees. An Asia Pacific regional hub in Singapore provides customer support and services for the region.

Technical work runs across aerospace engineering, aircraft manufacturing, electric propulsion, advanced air mobility, defence and security systems, and MRO. Eve Air Mobility is the advanced air mobility initiative developing electric propulsion and urban air mobility aircraft.

Operations are governed by an emphasis on safety, quality and sustainability, with a stated commitment to carbon neutrality by 2040.
