With in-house aircraft maintenance facilities, Aviair’s fleet of over thirty includes Beechcraft King Air B200, Cessna Caravan C208, Pilatus PC-12 and both twin and single piston engine aircraft which are ideally suited to withstand the harsh environmental conditions and long distances prevalent in remote northern Australia. Aviair’s operational capabilities include regular public transport (RPT), mining company FIFO, air freight, RFDS clinics, remote area services, search and rescue operations, aerial geophysical work, photography and scenic flights, passenger charter and custom-tailored itineraries. The depth and breadth of Aviair’s operational footprint affords clients flexibility, redundancy and economies of scale in flight operations, as well as logistical support. Alliance Airlines is Australia’s major fly in, fly out (FIFO) air charter operator. Founded in 2002, with just 3 aircraft, today Alliance boasts a fleet of 40 Fokker aircraft, employs over 500 staff and provides regular and adhoc charter services in Australia and New Zealand. Aero Logistics commenced operations in 2001 as a helicopter charter business in the City of Newcastle, New South Wales. Offering scenic, charter and specialty aerial work opportunities, Aero Logistics grew quickly and became a renowned business, extending its operations to the nearby Hunter Valley. Seeing an opportunity to provide better services to the Hunter and Sydney region, a vision was formed to build a facility to cater for specialised Helicopter Operations. In 2004, this vision was realised with the opening of the Newcastle Regional Heliport in Mayfield West. From this facility we continued to expand our operations into Sydney and Melbourne, as well as Fixed Wing operations. Today, Aero Logistics is one of the largest providers of specialist Airwork Aircraft, Corporate Charter Aircraft and Scenic Tours in Australia. Working with industry leading geospatial firms, we have undertaken projects in location as remote as the Himalayas, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, and remote pacific Island nations. With operational bases in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia, Aero Logistics has grown to be the leading provider in the Australian, Oceanic and South-East Asian Region.

POLAR AVIATION (1981 - 2024) Polar Aviation began in 1981 when Clark Butson recognised a clear need in the Pilbara. Remote communities were being left behind - cut off by distance and lacking reliable transport options. Clark believed they deserved better: dependable access to essential services, safe travel, and the same opportunities as those in major cities. From its earliest flights, Polar was more than just a charter service. It became a vital connection - moving students, supporting mining operations, delivering freight, and even responding to emergencies. Operating its own turbine aircraft, building hangars in key locations, and investing in in-house training and navigation systems, Polar built a reputation for doing things properly and showing up where others wouldn’t.
