About the Role

You will be part of the team responsible for managing the planning, procurement and execution of assigned building construction packages in Terminal 5 development. This role serves as the key interface between consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, within budget and of the highest quality standard.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team consultants and contractors to ensure code and regulatory compliance, quality, reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and maintainability of the system. The candidate shall work with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, managing, coordinating, and interfacing for construction implementation to ensure construction is carried out safely, within budget and schedule.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university with at least 8 years of relevant experience in the planning, design management and project delivery of mechanical building services systems.
  • Proven track record in the successful delivery of large-scale building, infrastructure, rail, or transportation-related construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement strategies, tendering processes, and contract administration. Preparation of tender documents, project specifications and tender evaluation leading to award of contractors.
  • Excellent coordination, negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse project participants effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple building services packages concurrently, with strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, results-driven, and assertive, with the ability to make informed decisions in a dynamic project environment.
  • Capable of working independently while effectively managing project deliverables, schedules, budgets, and risks.
  • Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex project environment.
  • Knowledge of M&E building services design, construction, and project management, preferably with experience in government, public sector, or commercial development projects.
  • Project documentation and close-out for handover and post-handover support.
  • Experience in coordinating with LTA, MRT, and SWC stakeholders will be an added advantage.

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
