About the Role

British Airways are seeking experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team at Melbourne International Airport.

Candidates for the LAME position must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance engineering. The Licensed Aircraft Engineer will be responsible on a shift basis for technical certification of BA and customer aircraft. To be considered for the LAME role, applicants will need to hold a UK CAA 66 or CASA 66 B1 License. Type rating on B787 would be an added advantage.

For the AME position, a Diploma / Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance is required or currently enrolled in same. The AME role is contract with opportunity for development to LAME.
