About the Role
BDA is looking for a Senior Technical Officer - Mechanical who will join the Air Combat and Electronic Attack Sustainment Program. In this role you will play a critical role in supporting the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler platforms at RAAF Amberley.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct continuing airworthiness management activities
- Work as a senior member of the team, guiding and mentoring junior engineers
- Provide technical leadership in delivering minor and major capability upgrades to the various platforms from the concept stage to aircraft in service
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the aviation industry
- Technical experience in an aircraft maintenance operational environment
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership in a major project environment
- Ability to collaborate and communicate aircraft technical related issues
- Understanding and experience with complex Super Hornet & Growler systems will be highly regarded
- Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements
